New data plans

Currently, both my wife and I have BB's with the unlimited data plans (which are no longer available) on the same family account. I use a lot of data, so I don't plan on giving up my data plan to be locked into a 5g limit. My wife however, does not use much data and I would like to be able to switch hers to the cheaper 200 mb data plan.

Can I change hers without being required to change mine?

We did that recently. Seems like the plans were individual to the device and not the family.

yes. data plans are for specific lines and not for the group as a whole.
