iPhone 4 eligibility

So I signed a two year contract in October for a 32GB iPhone 3Gs.

I want the iPhone 4, obviously lol.

ATT has allowed people to upgrade early with a two year contract for a *not* so discounted price on the iPhone.

I checked my eligibility and it said ATT would off me a 2 year contract, but it didn't specify anything.

Do reps already have information about iPhone upgrades, or will it be a mystery until the phone actually launches?

You need to go into a store to see if you're eligible for an early iPhone upgrade, you most likely are. Pricing for the early upgrade normally tacks on $100 to the regular price.

I would assume you could do an early upgrade, like the one you were mentioning, on the new iPhone. So you'd be looking @ about $500 on the 32 GB. I haven't heard anything against this. I would just keep in mind, that if you were to do that, AT&T isn't gonna let you upgrade again for 21 months, at least.

I called ATT last night twice, regarding this. I was told that any current iPhone user who had an upgrade due before the first of the year, was elligible for the 4G upgrade now. $199 for 16 GB, $299 for the 32GB.

It all depends on his plan. If he's an add-a-line and not the primary, he wont be due for an upgrade this year. He needs to go to a store, even the people over the phone can miss things, possible upgrade scenarios. I see it all the time.
