having at&t accoutn while being canadian

i will be spending a ton of time in the us the next 3 years wonderin if its possibly for me to set up an at&t account. i could also get the torch too, i have a u.s. mailing address and would be setting up with my credit card as the payment.

just wondering if any of the crackberry gods know?

Doesn't cost anything to have a business account, but... If you call for service, call from another phone, and tell the system that your phone number is 123 456 7890. Take my word for it.

But to start, basically, call AT&T, say you'd like to start new service with a business account. Be cautious if you visit a store.
