Default End of Contract question?

I currently have 5 lines, lets call them A. B. C. D. & E.
All 5 have different contract end dates.
Line E is due to end next month, BUT, Line C. is the one I no longer use/need.

Can I cancel line C instead, and swap Line E's contract end time without incurring any penalty?

I know I can cancel Line E, and start using Line C again, but I would prefer to keep using the same 4 lines (A.B.D.E) that I have been for quite some time if at all possible.

You cannot move contracts between lines.

Thanks Mister X - not the answer I wanted to hear, but it is what it is - thanks again.

have you considered "porting" the number instead?
so you STILL can have lines A B D E?

If you perform a transfer of billing responsibility, you can rid yourself of a line at no cost to yourself. It can be done online for free for everyone involved.

Or you can cancel the line that you want to keep (follow me here), wait 59-60 days, and change one line's number to the one you canceled, but this has a high risk of losing the number you wanted to move, if someone else picks it up.
