Default Data usage question

So I just switched to ATT. I got the Torch. Great phone. Anyway, I see ATT has stopped unlimited data plans. Now does the apps count towards my 2GB data usage!??!

Downloading them over the cell network does, as well as any time you're not connected to WiFi and they're fishing for external data, but merely having them does not.

Just use WiFi to download and update applications. If you're burning up 2GB a month, though, you probably shouldn't have bought a BB in the first place.

Alrighty. Thanks again. I didn't know they didn't have unlimited anymore. And it was my aunts gift so sadly I can go back to sprint and have a broken phone or keep att. Lol. Ill deal with it.
