In addition to that, ATT has replaced my BB twice, the first time for free under warranty (the charging port broke, a common problem I have learned) and the second time for the $50 insurance fee (due to my own carelessness). They have been very helpful both times. I have previously been with both Sprint and Nextel, as well as T-Mobile, Suncom (before they merged with T-Mobile) U.S. Cellular and Verizon, and let me tell you, I am an ATT customer for life. If you are courteous and talk to them with respect like humans, not dogs or slaves, ATT representatives will always be ready to help you out with whatever your situation is. So give it a try, you might find that your situation gets a lot better.

I concur...very, very happy with AT&T overall. Not perfect, but very good. Sorry for the OP problems. You are either a very unlucky SOB or something else is going on that hasn't been explained.

It's sounds like someone wants a Bold or excuse to switch carriers..

Ranting on CB isn't going to be your answer.

The only thing south of the Mississippi/Alabama line is the Gulf.

Back to the OP. I've had Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. Best coverage in my area is AT&T. I know some who get better reception with Sprint. One friend says Verizon blows on coverage for him. As they say YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY. AT&T are the most expensive also, but before I didn't have a smart phone that required a data plan. I haven't had to deal with the CS reps at all because I have had no problems with my phones. I trouble shoot my phones and can remedy most problems on my own. I work in retail and I can tell you for certain, no matter how bad the situation is treat those you come in contact with with respect and you will get so much better service than if you go in there with a attitude of I'm going to rip someone a new one because of this. A broken phone is not the fault of a CS rep in the store. Now if they are an a$$ to you first when going in being polite then you can rip away, because they asked for it. Keep it civil on both ends and see how much better service you will get.

Thats about a useless post......I have had carriers send me an item right back that I had returned....anythings possible and when I was talking to Kevin Michaluk and adam they mentioned you get some rude people posting on here......I would reccomend using planet feedback to contact there executive staff and see if you can get some help!

good luck

I called and go someone in cancellations who told me that he sees several complaints about my service that are noted in my account and told me I should not have been sold a 4g phone in an area that does not have 4g and that the store should have warned me about the poor service I would get. He then said he could not get me out of my contract I would have to port my numbers to Verizon then call back when I get my ETF bill. Is this true or was he just blowing smoke my way? Do I have to port my numbers before getting out of my contract or could a manager have helped me? I am nervous because I don't want to port my numbers and then have them tell me that they won't do anything and then I would be stuck with the $400 dollars to cancel both mine and my husbands contracts. What would you suggest?

ATT not picking up the 9780... AND now releasing the beloved and most coveted 9900 LAST out of all major carriers in the US... is just another sucker punch to us BlackBerry ATT customers...

Never believe anybody who says they will waive your ETF later. That sort of thing has to be determined at the point of cancellation, if it can even be done. And that usually requires a high level support group to give approval.

AT&T has become horrible. Customer service sucks and now they are bleeding every cent they can from their customers. First BB Bridge then lowering the data plans and raising prices. I was just about to switch to T-Mobile when I was old that they are trying to buy the. so I think Verizon it is.

Yeah yeah yeah; but anybody who already had X wasn't required to get rid of it, so all of your complaining about the changes over the past few years are utterly groundless. Either you had it and still do, or never had it and never will.

Insurance, on the other hand, has nothing to do with AT&T, the premium is increasing, and the service itself is becoming worthless. I'm going to drop it, myself. I realized I wasn't a clutz, so losing or breaking my phone wasn't going to happen, and if I get mugged, I'm more likely to have to call a lawyer about it than Asurion.
