$35 to exchange my phone after one day new.
$ 35.00 to exchange my problematic 9810 for the same model, I just bought this phone the day before yesterday. This is not fair. I could see maybe if I did not like the phone and had buyer’s remorse. But charging me for giving me a broken phone in the first place.
Now , I did ask the sales rep “ if any problems should arise, can I exchange it with out paying $35.00 . Her reply, There will be no fee, we only charge that if you return the phone for no reason,
The manager at the AT&T corporate store said he could do nothing about the $35.00. That I should call customer service before coming to the store. I called customer service before going the AT&T store. CS said “ return it” So I told the manage this. His reply “ Get them to note the account that you won't be charged $35.00 “ The Manager said he will exchange without the fee.
This what I have paid AT&T to the date for the last 13 years $ 21, 060.00. Tell me you guys take your business more seriously. Are willing to loose my business for $35.00 bucks and give me the run around.
So , what can I do about this problem? I called CS tonight and was told , It’s up to the store manager. I refuse to pay $35.00 for returning a phone At&t sold me that did not work in the first place.
