2005 email repeatedly coming to phone

I have a bizarre problem...
I have a deleted 2005 email repeatedly coming to my phone but only my phone , not the desktop...it has been deleted on both but I receive it again up to 3 x a day.

It is not a HUGE problem but it's from a situation I would rather "forget" about and so it is having an emotional impact on a daily basis.
Any ideas? I have the 9700 and am very savvy with it and have done EvErYthing I can think of...this is so weird.
For the sheer # of emails I get , WHY only this one?

I had the same problem but it was a 2001 email. Was it to a @yahoo.com address? It then just went away after a couple weeks.

Well, this issue could be due to the email getting stuck on the server. Could you tell us what kind of an email account do you use and what server it is on?
