My VZW Z30 is no longer holding a good charge through the day. It is 12 noon and my battery is down to 44% and really haven't done the usual stuff I would do by this time of day.
Anyone else have/had this issue?

Quick question - do you just charge the phone until it shows as '100%' or do you charge it for longer (eg overnight)?
The reason I am asking is that the batteries on both my Passport and a client's Z10 last much better throughout the day (eg higher percentage left in the evening) if they have had an overnight charge (eg > 6 hours) as opposed to a quick 2 hours.....
It stays on the charger overnight and even while in my car I keep on the charger. This just started happening in the last week. I'm trying to recall if it started last week while in Puerto Rico.

I had an issue like this with a phone. Can't remember the name of it. I fixed it by replacing both the battery & the charging cable.

I don't have a Z30 so cannot comment specifically regarding this device - but, what I do know from all of my previous BlackBerrys (which had removable batteries), is that quite suddenly the battery performance would 'fall off a cliff'. This happened after about 13 months for my 9900, and 16 months for my Q10.
Other people on CrackBerry have suggested that the performance of these batteries 'fell off a cliff' sooner rather than later because the batteries had multiple 'mini-charges' throughout the day (eg in car holder-charger, frequently in a Dock whilst I made hands-free calls) - I have no idea if these suggestions have merit or not (but I am sure that some bright spark on here will be able to confirm or deny).
Have you thought of posting/moving this thread onto the Z30 forum - you might get a better response.
I can't seem to get many of the forum categories on CB from my Z30. Not sure what the issue is with that either. Will try from my laptop.
