    Hi,

I am completely new to blackberry and this forum. I want to try buying my next mobile with blackberry and confused between z10 and z3. I want better speed, smooth touch response, fast internet both in wifi and 3g+(4g preferred).

I saw there are many models in z10 and specs differ from each model especially the wifi speed and NFC etc. I want to know how to know which model is available in Indian online stores.

And I also want to know which one is future proof, to get latest updates, etc.

Which camera and colour reproduction is good?

I won't play many games, but will need instant notifications for whatsapp, viber, skype and Facebook messenger.

Anyone who has both, please guide me.

Is the z30 and passport worth the price?

    Thanks in advance.

The z10 and z3 are great phones! But in India, you get the z10 as stl-100-1, which has battery issues and stuff! The other z10's are good!
The z3 has an amazing battery life period, it has a better design and also processes graphics better! It also supports miracast! The z10 has a better screen, faster processor and more ram!

Both are great phones! If you get the z10, get the stl100-2 or 3 version

    Z30 is more future proof.
Z10 except the battery life, the phone is good.
Z3 less ram, processor technically but havent used it so cant comment on actual speed; while I can surely say all the 3 phones are snappy.

If you can invest more no doubt Z30 is great choice.

BlackBerry Support in India is terrible.
Be prepared before you indulge ! You have been warned !

The Z3 is a little on the heavier side, lower spec'ed & has a non-user removable battery.
In my perception - The Z10 is a better bet.
Am a frustrated user of the Z10(by service quality levels). Have not used the Z3.

The online stores in India offer the STL100-1. The Z3 is a good phone and all new phones from BlackBerry run on OS10. The OS is good, snappy on all phones. I suggest a Z30.

Thank you guys. I made up my mind with z30 finally. But is the service centres in India more pathetic to not buy? And a store in India selling a demo z30 phone for 30% discount but the 18 month warranty reduced to 11 months. I checked n couldn't find any wear tear. But is it really a demo phone or used phone I doubt now. Because if demo phone, it should get full warranty no?

Yes. service quality is pathetic in India. I had mic problem (hardware issue) in my Z30. It is with service centre since last 3 months for replacement. What is use of the phone if such a long period you have to wait. Blackberry India has given servicing to HCL ltd and all problems are because of this arrangement.

Yea, I can understand because of the less stock situation of this phone, the replacement will be longer. Which city are you in? That leaves me the better option to buy this phone that used demo phone for 21k.
