I got a z10 recently with software release 10.2.1.2977 (blackberry 10 OS)however it switches off randomly wether i place it down, or in my pocket. how can i solve this?

Hmmm...I think this might have to do with the battery. Maybe it is loose inside the case? Try putting a thin business card inside when you snap the back cover on and see if that thickness keeps the battery in place.
