Hmm. I think this is a quite common issue.. this is not an issue actually.. because your battery is less only 1800 mah.. compare to new phone.. you will get 7 to 8 hours backup I think.. just check what is your use.. (normally browser, video, game these are battery killing apps) try to use these things as less as possible..

Heating issues are quite common also.. if it is higher than 44c then it can be dangerous.. you can install some temp app where you can see the battery temperature..

Shut down phone completely. You can even take the battery out and leave for a few minutes then restart. Should sort it out.

Give some more information to focus your problem.. like what is the temperature ( not perfectly ) ?? Your battery last very few hours but how much 4 hour 5 hour.. like this what operating system you are using.. so give some deep inside...

Delete emulated apps if possible and investigate.

For me I really use only a few android apps and that increased my batterie life enormous.

When deleted, install needed apps step by step again to see which one causes possibly the drainage.

And not running the apps does NOT mean that they are not running! Even the app monitor didn't show usage of that apps...

I recognised apps that are emulated and try to fetch information in the background. That cause os10 often to emulate even in standby at 100%.

I always stop push-messages on that apps if possible!

    My suggestions depending on OS10.3.1.1784

Ok.. so first of all you are in wifi..
Now you do not use browser, now something you do that is strictly related to internet connection that's why your wifi is on.. ok check that..
    1) chatting : facebook, whatsapp, bbm,
    2) youtube..

If you see youtube videos then your phone become slightly hot.. it becomes more hot (38/39'c ) if you are in non ac room..

    Change the battery and see..

Who knows... But as always I heard that 10.3.2 would be better in battery life. So if you ain't got policy locked like me, I would give it a try and update.

I got a company BlackBerry phone. So it is connected trough BBES and due to that it got a company policy. So if I would update the os, this connection would broke. So I wouldn't have company pushed work emails anymore for example.

There was a build that did what you are complaining about. My Z30 and Passport had the same problem. Can't remember what build it was. The only way is to get off that build and upgrade to a higher build. Search the leaked OS threads for a OS and install yourself. Everything you need to know is there. I have a spare Z10 (model 3) and I run it always for wi-fi and occasionally switch phones and I have great battery life with at least 6 android apps. I'm running 10.3.2.2204 - you should give it a try.
Here are some links for the auto-loaders.

    That is your problem!
I don't know what fast charger you are using
If you are using a BlackBerry PlayBook charger that's at least better, but it causes overheating in phones
If you are using a non-BlackBerry fast charger, then you could destroy your phone...
No BB phone comes with a fast charger, so don't even bother defending that
