Hi there. I finally upgraded my phone and switched away from BlackBerry.

Question, I still want to want to use the BlackBerry as a wifi device. Do I need to unlock the phone to still be able to do software updates?

Nope. As long as you have WiFi it should receive updates as Rogers pushes them out....might have to wait for that to happen though.

You can always update on your own with Sachesi or autoloaders.

Yah....most carriers were offering some really good discounts or incentives, on everything but the Priv unfortunately.

    Good luck with the Sammy!
