I csnt get rid of it snd it tKes up half my screen. I just spent a miserable half hour trying to find anway to post. Not allowed to SEE my post. While i type it. Sorry but i cant do this.

Which app are you using and which phone do you have?

I would highly doubt any navigation bar would take up even close to half of the screen but more info is needed....which app are you talking about?

ok im using z30 instead but it sucks to have this happen. i see from another thread this i happening toall Playbooks. i still want to know why.

The OP was not clear in his post which device is having the problem, but it has been a problem with the Playbook as of late. As I understand it, Crackberry is aware of the problem, and is looking into it. In the meantime, may I suggest downloading the CB app from Blackberry World and using it instead of the website. I still use this app and altho it is pretty basic, it still works.
