    1) Reinstall your OS.
    2) Sideload the BAR file.
    3) Just visit YouTube in your browser, press your menu key, choose 'Add to homescreen'.

    Really, the YT 'app' is just a web link anyway. Third option is the easiest. You'll never notice the difference over any of the other options.

    Not sure how to get your deleted icon back but FYI it is literally just a browser link. You can go to your browser and enter this URL: m.youtube.com/?tsp=1 and it is exactly the same thing. Save to bookmarks and have nearly same ease of use until someone comes along and explains how to get your icon back.

    Edit - I see bla1ze beat me to it.
