    My passport died, and I need a new phone, and the BlackBerry leap is really cheap new, is it worth buyin or even worth buyin a BlackBerry device nowadayss?

    It is really cheap.....

    And if you are aware that the it's pretty much all downhill from here, and are ok with that.... BB10 will still make a good basic communications platform.

    If you need a phone to last you two or three years, or really need the popular apps of today.... no.

    This is such a joke. Some people I work with (film & TV) are still carrying their old OS7 BBerry phones. If they can. I looked at the Priv and thought it was Very Large and I do not use a PKB. So, waiting on what's next from BBerry. The Leap is a decent, reasonable phone, so why not?

    Personally I would try and find a used z30. I think it's even a better phone and you'll save even more money
