    I would like to order one for my Partner for Christmas. He has a T-Mobile sim. I assume the device would be unlocked to any network if I order it directly from BlackBerryShop?

    Yes, it will work. They are all the same model, and there's only one model. And it will come factory unlocked, so all you have to do is put a SIM card in.
