    Yes, you surely CAN remove 'all things Google' from an Android phone.

    Just can't do it on the Priv since you can't root it in order to remove some specific Google system apps that would need root permission in order to completely remove from the Priv.

    Op you can disable a lot of the intrusive Google features on the PRIV..

    But at it's heart it is a Google phone - backup, device tracking and managment BlackBerry hasn't given consumer any options other than Google.
