    No... it's not an Apple device.

    Does have a fingerprint scanner... but it's functionality is tied to Android.

    Yes. It does have a fingerprint sensor (as been said) attached to space bar on the keyboard.

    Yes unlocking of the phone is an options along with any apps that support AppLock for Android.

    Just seems to be more Apps capable of using Apple's Touch ID...

    I thought I saw a little light sensor on each end of the spacebar indicating where to place your thumb between. But I don't believe the spacebar is wide enough so that may have been just for show when displaying it at launch?
