Probably just buy a new phone that runs a supported OS....

Only time will tell if another option pops up and will work.

It will run till the end of the year, at which point Whatsapp will pull the plug on BlackBerry.

No one know for sure. BlackBerry is said to find a solution, which I think the solution is forcing people to buy their new android phone. Nemory said they are trying on something as well. The apk version is not running smoothly but there is wa fixer in betazone. The point is. It will most likely work, but not as smooth as it is now. As blackberry 10 user, you should know by now. There is always a work around in os10, after all bb10 is all about work around eh.

Download it from the Google play store. Not sure if it will work with the hub though.

WhatApp dev said they won't actively try to lockout BB10 users that use the Android apk ala Snapchat but its totally YMMV how it will work in the future ie new updates, features may not work.

Yes. But you will probably have to side load an older Android version. My Passport already has issues with apps optimised for Marshmallow. When Nougat and Nougat optimised apps come out without the BlackBerry 10 Android run time being updated I suspect many Android apps will become slow and unresponsive.

Only if I can't find a version that runs on my Passport SE. I so far have Viber, Skype, WeChat, Line, Telegram, Instagram, ESPN and a few others running just fine. I got the versions either from 9Apps or from CB forums that people stated the last version they have running with no problems. Still rocking 24-7 with my Passport SE & Semi Retired Z10
