    I am going to buy a friend a Motorola Droid A855 if she is able to use BBM on it. I watched a review that said it runs os 2.0. Not sure if it upgrades to 2.3 Please respond.

    Yikes original Droid. Its a heavy solid slider phone back in the day but I wouldn't want a friend to buy me it now. If you want a used Android phone to run BBM there are alot of decent cheap options, A855 is a relic.

    Google (search, not company) says it can go as righ as 2.3.7.

    I would stay CLEAR of anything running Android lower than 4.1.
