[CrackBerry Question]

Hello y'all, i have a problem with my Z30. Due to some some power outages in Ghana i mostly charge my phone over night but unfortunately for me my phone ran out of battery and now it can't power up. Earlier in the day when there was electricity, i tried charging it up but the led indicator lit red for about 5secs and went back off .
Since them, the phone won't start despite the many attempts to charge with my laptop and even grid power.

Please help me, i really need to get this phone working again cos i love it so much

A laptop does not have enough current to charge the device. Maybe overnight?
Make sure your are using the OEM charger for the device, not another one that "just fits", may not have enough current output. You may have to try "Stack Charging", ala Playbook. Plug it into a power strip (with a switch) and charge it for 15 minutes. turn the power strip off with the switch, wait 2/3 minutes, and the turn it back on again for another 15/20 minutes. Repeat for at least 10/15? times, and hopefully, you will have built up enough charge/juice for the device to start and finish booting.

Not sure if this helps but if you haven't tried already try using the official charger and cable. Happened to me with a nokia lumia before, used to charge it with blackberry charger but when it completely died it would only charge and power up using its own charger

Hook it up to bb link and reload the os. I've done this 3 Z30 with the same issue.

Official charger or one even more powerful like the playbook charger will work fine. What you want is a charger with a bit of punch if you live in an area with dodgy power as a 1500 or 2000 mah will charge faster than a 900.
