    When I plugged it in, the device recognized that it was plugged in but told me that there wasn't enough power coming from the USB source (it's plugged into the wall charger)

    Your charger must deliver at least 250 mAh of power. Either the some pins aren't touching or the charger is defective. Try a different charger, try charging it from a computer with a USB cable. If both fail, then the USB port is probably busted.
