Does anyone know what type of sim is required for the PlayBook 4G LTE (phone or broadband as I have been told both by my present UK carrier) and which carrier (EE, Vodafone, O2 or 3) anyone is or has used in the UK that actually works with the 4G device? My present sim is with 3 and cannot get it to connect to their network, "The phone has been blocked and cannot be used on the network (MM#6)" error

In canada...a broadband sim is only needed with no special provisions. .

Thanks Martin that's what I suspected, I think the device is blocked or contracted to another carrier. I have used a broadband and phone sim from the same carrier and still get the message above. Does anyone know what and how I persue the MM#6 error; is it just that it needs to be unlocked/unblocked by a carrier or is there something I can update on the PlayBook itself? The PlayBook was purchased brand new on-line from the US and supposedly unlocked. I'm based in the UK. All other aspects of the PlayBook (wif-fi etc) works like a dream

Resolved. It appears to be a problem with the Three network who appear to have blocked access in the UK; am now using a T-Mobile/EE broadband sim and 3G/4G works perfectly
