Why are there almost no phones with good audio ???
I like good sound.
At home i use a set of Technics SB-10 flat diaphragm titanium honeycomb with strathearn modified leaf tweeters, Polk model 5's
a Sansui AUD-11 and modified hafler amplifiers, and digital input via PC from Dragonfly , Geek out, Cambridge. Headphones are
NAD Viso, AT H50x , B&W H7 (as well as speciaslised hi-res audio/media software such as JRiver ). I also own calibration microphones, audio analysis software and custom written impulse test software (modified chirp Z).
As far as i know only 2 phones support high quality software, M8 (196Ksps/24 bit) harmon kardon version, and i believe one other
was capable of 96/24. I have the ability to listen to upto 384Ksps / 32 bit, and have many 96/192 24bit albums , sorry no MP3 here.
be nice if Blackberry was one of the first to really push to 192/24
To those of us who really like our music - and not the flat dead iDevice or ADevice audio chipsets.....
My S3 is passed due and i really would like a better audio device, games for me are a near non event, social media a peripheral,
