[CrackBerry Question]

I've got the passport SE and find that my Skype calls are not coming through to the phone.

My PC and Ipad ring with incoming calls but not the passport.

Anyone else have this issue, and is there a simple fix?

Is Skype left running? If you close the app, there's a chance it might not come through. Skype is janky on BlackBerry 10. If you haven't already, leave it open in an active frame and see if that works. Technically it should run in the background anyway but maybe it's just being buggy... or maybe you never enabled the background permission. If so, check under the App settings to see if it's allowed to run.

Skype worked well for months on my Passport then after an update to the latest version of Skype it would not ring out.
Solved: Go onto the internet and type (i.e.Search) Skype Version 6.1.0.16416
Choose Skype 6.1.0.16416 APK mirror file site and download and install.
This solved the problem on my Passport SE as it is a much earlier version which seems to suit the Passport Silver Edition OS10 system. This fix has also been recommended by other users for this and similar problems on other OS10 BlackBerry phones. Good Luck.

Has anybody compared both?
