Why is the reception on my Classic so poor?

Hi

I've just bought a Classic and I'm experiencing some issues with regards to reception.

For example currently sitting in my lounge, my 9900 has 4 bars and 3G (Tesco network) but my Classic has between 1/2 bars and is mainly stuck on a small g which I assume is GPRS but the fact its g not G isn't great either.

These are on the same network (Tesco is a virtual on O2) so I'm not sure what the issue is. The Classic has got H+ when I went out to another location earlier.

Anyone experience anything similar or have any advice that may shed some light on what the problem may be?

Try loading another Radio, just make sure it works on your OS

The old legacy devices had kickass antennae. The Z30 and the passport have a paratek antenna which does a nice job. The Z10 not so much. Not sure if you have that in the classic.

Classic has the same antenna as Passport and Z30 do.
