I have had my BBZ10 for almost 2 years and love it. On Friday I updated to 10.3.1.1581 and loved the new look/feel. Unfortunately, I am not impressed with the battery life now. With my usage I would regularly get almost 2 days before I would have to charge but now I'm lucky if I get 8 hours. I even charged it to 100%, took it off the charger at 11:30 pm, put it into sleep mode and by 7:30 am it was completely dead.

I am on Rogers network, got WiFi off, Bluetooth off, NFC is on (but has always been on with the previous version). I have the screen set to timeout after 10 seconds (very annoying as I use to have this set to 2 minutes before).

I'm at a lose as to why. I can go to work with a 100% charge and not using the phone just email, text and BBM I can't make it to the end of the day without having to recharge.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Am I the only one who is having this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Paul,
I have had the exact same experience on my Z30. I have looked through the forums and many posts say that it will take a few days for the OS to start working properly and that it will correct itself. I am on day 3 of version 10.3.1.2267. The first 2 days was terrible for my battery life. I will be watching and reporting how it goes.
How many days since you updated?
