Since installing the Blackberry 10.3.1.1565 software, when I look at the list of chats on WhatsApp (all of which are with contacts I use regularly) they are now displayed mostly as numbers - with the contact photo beside them. Most of them are displayed as international numbers, ie with the + and country number before the local number, and even though I have tried to go into my contacts and change this it makes no difference. This has only happened since I upgraded to the latest software.
If you open one of these contacts in the system Contacts app, tap on the "Links" action button at the bottom of the screen. See what is in the list.
There are certain kinda of contacts (anything from a "social" account with added "Additional Contact Information") that 3rd party apps can no longer see in 10.3.1.
Just to clarify, should I be de-linking social networking stuff (Facebook, Linked In etc) from my contacts? I have tried to de-link these from a couple of my contacts but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Also, on at least one of the contacts, it said that there were 2 links but when I clicked on this it gave me no further available actions.
