Upgrading from a 9810 and I am trying to transfer data and contacts to Passport. That part alone has been a struggle but now that I "think" I've backed up the 9810 without it hanging up, I can't get my laptop to recognize the passport is connected. Ideas?

have you tried rebooting both the passport and the PC?
Are you using Link for the Passport? Because desktop manager won't work. Link has all the drivers you need. Then you can do a device switch
