    So I've been using Waze android port for a trip, and it's caused the location services memory usage to balloon to 121 MB. It kept getting higher even after shutting Waze off, and would not go down. So I decided to disable location services completely, hoping to regain some precious memory, but NOPE.
    I have problems with memory leaks in general on this device. After a restart, everything works fine for a few days, and then the memory usage eventually goes high enough that using the browser (for example) will cause some or all of my other apps to force close and leave a ghosted tile behind. This really sucks.

    See this picture showing the memory usage 2 days after shutting off location services:

    Oh look, what a surprise, I was typing up the question above ^^ and look what happened - all my apps decided to close themselves for lack of memory again
