    I've always had trouble charging my Passport - getting a good connection between the unit and outlet or computer has been 'iffy'. Now I can't get a connection at all to charge it. I've tried several usb cables with no luck. Right now I feel like I have an expensive door stop. I've read similar problems before - does anyone have any ideas? I'm sure getting it fixed would cost more than buying one on eBay. Maybe a Galaxy Tab for the next one?

    If your micro USB port is damaged on your Passport, then yes, it wont charge.
    Look at the port with a magnifier, see if the terminals look bent, broke, or burnt. Check to see if the port seems loose.

    As the Passport is about 2 months old, it should still be under warranty from BlackBerry.
