Why does my Z10 WiFi turn off?

I've been reading other posts and they do not answer the question that I have. The wifi does not disconnect, it TURNS OFF. I have to go into settings and turn it back on. No I do not look at the little icons to see if it is on. I expect it to stay on until I turn it off. Can anyone give me an answer to my problem.

Maybe try to reset your modem?

Maybe I wasn't totally clear in my first post. The WiFi on my Z10 turns off and I need to go into settings and turn it back on. This can happen anywhere, anytime, not just at home or at work. What I am wondering is why it turns off. Thanks.
