K lately my passport has been anything but smooth, like things are a bit jittery and ****, why?? It seems as if for some reason the memory used is quite high why is this, this in term will slow the phone down correct, I'm attaching a pic ,this is on a good day it's been down to 800mb.

Your BBM seems a bit high.

Have you tried restarting your device?

Also, the way BB10 handles memory is not exactly as simple as "keep memory empty until it's needed by apps". The OS takes a few liberties with available memory and might use it from time to time, freeing it up when it's required by an app or service.

But try restarting your device.

Closing the Bbm active frame greatly reduces the ram it takes up. I still never close it lol!

Also do you have a lot of pictures in group chats?

I have restarted my passport about two times over the last month or so for various hickups, I have zero group chats don't know much about that stuff, when u say pictures ,do you mean the pictures I have taken?? I have about 1400 or so..

Pictures can hog storage, not memory unless they are all loaded.
