[CrackBerry Question]

when I first had the phone nothing showed I had location access. Then one day I glance at it and there amazon appstore had location access and you cant turn it off. Now it has access to my files and location I mean wtf? Why would amazon be allowed access I never once used their appstore... model is classic

OP, I agree with you amazon should not be able to access your location and files without hour permission, nor anything else.

I found the only way to stop this happening was to do a factory reset and then do not open either of the amazon apps.

It's only when you first open the amazon apps that the permission screen shows and you either grant and the app opens, or you refuse permission and the app closes.

After you've done a factory reset create a junk folder and put the amazon apps in that so that they're out of the way.

I haven't found a way to delete them off my device unfortunately.

Backup the device using BlackBerry Link prior to doing a factory reset.
