Flash is insecure, it is outdated, etc...

Now that I have upgraded to 10.3 I'm starting to have limitations without flash. Now I can see how many apps and sites require flash.

So maybe I should email them and tell them that everyone is abandoning flash, so they should too right? Wrong!

The latest two are:

Flixter and Amazon Prime.

My entire video libraries are now inaccessible. At least my outdated and archaic Playbook still plays them, so I guess I should be happy.

Anyways, just thought I should share.

How does the browser not supporting flash affect the app? Isn't that the reason apps became so popular on the iPhone in the first place? When it was launched, and still to this day, the iPhone didn't support flash so the NEED for apps was created.

And seriously, I have flash turned off in my 10.3 browser and there is only a handful of sites I visit that require flash.

If you need flash so bad on your 10.3.1 device, then do a search on CB for "flashbroswer" and there is a thread and article on how to get it to work.
