Why did my battery drain suddenly change?

Z30. Everything was fine until an update was downloaded.OS version 10.3.3.2049. Since the download Blend has been burning through the battery constantly. Has gone through 12% of the battery in less than 2 hours. Blend version1.2.0.26. Any ideas on how to correct this?

Try a hard reset.

I have restarted several times but was under the impression that a z30 could not do a "hard" restart since the battery cannot be removed. Am I wrong?

Hold power button down for 20-30 seconds until red LED flashes and the BlackBerry boot logo reappears.

If the hard reboot fails to change the drain you may need to reload the OS on your device.
