I have the new Classic, which is replacing my Q10. I can connect and restore on one computer, but not another (my laptop)? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Link on my laptop, but it still is not connecting. I've tried Blend. I've checked and disabled my anti-virus and firewall. I have restored the Classic to factory settings. Nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

I have found that things connect better if you reboot both your phone and the laptop first. Stupid, I know. But it works for me.....

Blackberry Device Manager and Link Communication are both enabled and running. Don't see a RIM for BlackBerry. RIM MDNS is enabled and running.

Rebooted both. Nothing. I do get the message that the Classic is "connected"n but Link cannot communicate with it. The old Q10 links up fine.

On the BlackBerry Device Manager, right-click and properties. Choose About tab, do you have these components:
    BlackBerry Device Manager
    BBDevMgr
    RIM USB Driver
    RIM USB Serial Driver

    The Q10 OS is 10.2.1.2976
The laptop shows the drivers, but tells be there is an issue with them. I've also deleted Link and re-installed from the BlackBerry.com.

Solution to my problem was suggested by BlackBerry. There was a problem with Windows, and I needed to re-load by resetting my laptop. All is well!
