So have you tried reloading your OS?
And putting just the basic apps on there? Sounds like you don't have enough free memory to start the camera. Take the battery out and put it back in and then restart and see what happens?

The service center guys in here will always tell that. Thats their default answer.
Backup all your stuff using Link and try re-loading the OS via an auto loader. It should fix the issue.
Did you run the Blackberry Virtual Expert to check whether there is any hardware issue ?
