    Hello,
    I am having trouble with Blackberry Link. When I plug my Z10 into my computer via USB, my computer and BB Link recognize my phone. My phone also recognizes that it is attached to my computer. I am able to transfer music, pictures, and documents between my computer and BB Link when connected via USB. But, when I try to perform a full back up of my phone I get the error message "VERIFY YOUR DEVICE IS TURNED ON AND CONNECTED TO BLACKBERRY LINK". I have tried reinstalling BB Link with the latest version with no luck. I have also tried different USB cords. I am on Verizon Wireless and have their latest stock OS updated. My Q10 has no problem backing up with BB Link, only my Z10. Any thoughts?

    Did you download the latest BB Link or the one that came with Blend? The one with Blend is newer and has solved a lot of issues.

    Although I just tried BB Blend through the link you sent, but I do not yet have 10.3 so it wont let me use it. I am actually trying to update to 10.3.1, which is why I am trying to back up my phone before I do so.
    I also redownloaded and installed the newest BB Link, but no luck...

    Had same problem with my z10 yesterday, it was a new out of box from a insurance claim. Did same as u did, this morning it worked just fine,

    Is there a password prompt on your z10 or onscreen that is not displaying in the foreground?

    that is a great thought...my phone is password protected and the password prompt has always shown up in the past. But now that you point that out, the prompt has not been showing up lately as I have been trying to do this. Is there anyway to bring it up manually?
    It does say I am connected in Link and can view and transfer files, but when I try to back it up it says "computing back up data" then it stops short of starting the actual back up...

    Perform the Remove Device method in Link.

    Alternatively, try a different computer. It sounds like something is bugged with Link and your computer.

    Hey I had that problem a few time and I realize it has to do with memory most times if it's to low it will not back up check your memory and see

    Yes you can just set it to sync over WiFi on your phone it will sync anytime bb link is open on your computer and it's near your phone.

    Please add me to the list of BB users that cant access BB Link. Ive tried everything I can think of and Link still wont recognize my Z10. Its all so maddening and even more so that BB has nothing for me.
