    BB link cannot find my phone, although it is connected, i can see the phone but link cannot recognize it, i changed the data cable, deleted and re-installed the software but i cannot connect or back up

    If your on the newest official OS you might have to d/l BB blend it has a bunch of updated drivers for link and Blend in it,
