if the update was sent to your phone, you would have been asked to reb oot.
Check settings/about /os and see what you have.

You can also download it yourself.

If you're with Verizon, they haven't issued the update yet. Grrrr. If not, check to see if your provider has issued it. There are explanations around crackberry for downloading it even if your provider doesn't offer it, though be aware that this MAY cause problems with the provider.

It's probably because your provider hasn't released it. They released it for a bit then took it off because of problems. You should phone your provider to see.
