After updating my Z10 password keeper software all my entries are gone. I need help. I thought BlackBerry Protect was supposed to save all that stuff. Help!

You believed wrong. Protect doesn't save a thing on BlackBerry 10 devices.

next time make a backup. Protect is to protect the data not save it.

Password Keeper in itself has a Export/Import feature. Try to take advantage of that feature.

Update password keeper on the old device and then you get an export feature then import to the new one

Ya, I just saw that my Password Keeper is now empty too. That REALLY sucks.
As much as we "should have backed up", that isn't helpful now.
Almost every other application keeps its data after an update, so its easy to see how most people would assume the same for Password Keeper, me included.
In this case, the App should have provided a warning before simply allowing the update to go through.

    /Very Frustrated.

I think something went bad on your update. I've updated OTA and using sachesi, and I haven't lost a single bit of information.

    Hmm, thanks. That's interesting.
I don't use Sachesi, but I did update OTA.
I backed up my device through Link a few weeks ago - anyone know if I can restore ONLY that database? I wouldn't want to restore the whole device.

Just a quick follow-up here. Because I had backed up my BB a few weeks earlier, I was able to restore the Password Keeper database using Link. Whew.
