    What platform are you on... BBOS, BB10 or Android.

    Best solution is to use an online email service - I really like outlook.com. Once there you'll always have access to any new phone, tablet or computer.

    For BB10 there are a few Backup Apps that would allow you to save your contact to any of the cloud services ... dropbox, onedrive.... Backup Pro from Fire Chest does it.
