I am looking forward to upgrading my Blackberry Curve to the Classic. I have been a Sprint customer for 15 years and have seen no available dates for the release of an unlocked Classic that will work on the Sprint network. Does anyone know when we might expect this release date?

Haven't hear if Sprint will have it...
You'll probably have to see if Verizon sells it unlocked.....

But to answer the question... we don't know other than coming soon

I haven't seen anything about the Classic coming to Sprint. No release dates, no model names/numbers, specs, etc.

Na.... Passport will be fine for year or two.

Classic... is a low end device that is built for a non consumer niche. It should do the basics that most enterprise customers will require. Cause if Apps are important to the company... they aren't buying a BlackBerry anyway.
