    i have a bb bold 9900 running whatsapp 2.12.1423...

    since yesterday my bb world is showing that there is an update available for whatsapp (version 2.12.1663)

    does anyone know what the change log is of this version?

    i am afraid it has some changes in ti, so the can turn it remotely off... after knowing the news from last week of whatsapp being discontinued for bb

    If the current Whatsapp installation is working fine and the update doesn't list any new features or betterment...why update?

    only reason would be to get read of the update balloon
    .. so for now i am leaving it ..
    probably the new feature is the "switch off whatsapp" switch, to turn off the service for BB
