    I want to go back to bb and want to buy a bold 9780, would like to know what US carrier will support it?

    I would assume any 3G gsm carrier, that would exclude cdma carriers like Verizon

    If you are going to have to buy a phone... why not get a 9900 - better hardware much better version of BBOS. Or better to a more modern Q10, Classic or Passport?

    T-Mobile and AT&T are the best options, will have to have a BIS or BlackBerry plan with an older BBOS powered phone, but once you can find someone that knows what that is... I think both do still offer those.
