From a reboot, I get as low as 60 MB and after opening BBM and letting everything load (which takes some time) it goes as high as 200 MB! Is that normal?

I like to keep BBM and an RSS app open in active frame because it looks good and loading those apps from close takes unusually longer than other core apps (which also takes a hit on battery life and convenience).

The RSS app will use almost as much RAM as BBM when all the features are accessed and when I'm using one, and as the RAM used builds, the result is all other apps open in active frame (typically 4 to 5 apps: assistant, weather, a music player, etc.) will close.

I'm on a Z10STL100-3/10.3.1.2576 official OS, and I think 2 GB of RAM is too low to use Active Frames effectively.

No such thing as typical, since everyone has a different amount of contacts, chats, groups, channels and activity.

I not sure it's dependent on the number of activity because I unsubscribed from a good number of channels and inactive groups and the RAM usage is the same.

And sometimes while the app is closed and Hub notifications are cleared, the RAM used will stay in the high 100s and not go down to < 60s.

I have a Passport on 10.3.1 and I have about 25 contacts in BBM with some channels as well. Just checked my memory and its at 5.5 MB.

Mine's the same after a fresh reboot, then it jumps higher.

I haven't rebooted my phone in about 3 weeks. Obviously something is wrong with your phone. Unfortunately i'm not sure what it could be.
