    hi all, I know this question has nothing to do with BB but I want to ask this question to non, former or current users. what is required for a proper security on an Android device? does one need an Antivirus software installed or does the manufacturer (Samsung) provide that?

    Knowledge and understanding of app permissions, virus scanner software, firewall, and knowing that everything you do on the device is being recorded and sold to advertisers anyways. The manufacture will resolve OS related issues, all other issues are yours and yours alone. The manufacture would not give a rats *** of what you install, they already got your money.
