Software issue, hardware issue, debris in the headphones jack, disconnected speaker are a few of the things I can name off the top of my head.
Which device do you have, what operating system are you running, and what carrier? All of these bits of info can help others to pinpoint your issue. Please add them so we can try and help you out more effectively. :)
Oh, and, Welcome to the CrackBerry forums!
Thank You.. I use BlackBerry Z10.. with the 10.2.1 OS.. it was working till last night when I woke up this morning I hear no sound from my speaker.. I dropped it once 3 days before from my seat to the floor of the cab.. about 1.5 ft.. and I do have a TPU bumper on it..

The Z10 has two speakers, one and the bottom of the phone that is used by media player and for ringing and then one at the top for use in calls. The pice shows the position of top speaker in LCD housing, it is actually really simple to replace. It could just be a software issue, but sounds more likely it could have been disconnected when you dropped it. If your phone is still under warranty then send it in. Otherwise it may just be a case of a simple repair
